Pay Per Click Marketing
PPC (Pay Per Click) marketing is a form of advertising that can be used across a range of Internet sites. These include the major search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo, social media sites like Facebook and a variety of other sites. Many web sites that don’t have their own PPC platform carry adverts from one of the leading platforms such as Google Adwords
PPC marketing is extremely powerful and with the right campaign management can deliver a very good return on investment for businesses, it is also a method of advertising where results are often much easier to track than with traditional offline marketing methods and where there is a high level of control over spend and targeting.
The Major benefits of PPC

How does it work
The detailed mechanics of the various PPC platforms differ and can be quite complex. The basic concept however is relatively simple. An advertiser decides on a key word or phrase that they would like a particular advert to appear for and how much they would like to pay if someone clicks on the advert and is directed to a specific page on their own web site. The search engine will then decide where on the search page the advert will appear, fundamentally advertisers with higher bids are likely to appear nearer the top of the page. Although the bid value is not the only consideration it is generally a significant factor.
If someone searches using one of your chosen words or phrases and subsequently clicks on your listing and visits your web site page then you are charged. If your advert is displayed on the web page but is not clicked on you pay nothing, hence the term Pay Per Click.
